Okumgba Omuaru Thanksgiving '23 Medical Outreach

In life's journey, there comes a time when the search for identity and purpose must be necessarily confronted. FOr us, that journey dawned on us as descendants of the late Chief Amapakaye Okumgba in 2019 with a simple yearning to reconnect and come together, reposition ourselves within our community; the Ancient Kingdom of Ogoloma, WALGA. THis journey was not without hiccups but as it had become customary with our family, we stormed the courts of heaven and again for answers and with the Lord on our side, every mountain and hill was made low, every valley raised up and every crooked path made straight.

In this vain, we have come to give thanks to God and one of the ways to show appreciation is to give back to the community, hence the medical outreach, which attended to over 500 people, giving out medical attention for malaria, high blood pressure, and other ailments. Free glasses was also given out to over a hundred people. Also, one of us, through her foundation, Joy Givers Foundation, shared palliatives for the community widows.
